A MASTER EDUCATOR, writer, and narrative scholar, Denice Turner received her Ph.D. in English from University of Nevada, Reno, and specializes in life story, including memoir, creative nonfiction, autobiography, and travel writing.

 

Her research explores the healing dimensions of writing as well as the social geographies that complicate writing.  Her work takes creative and critical forms, but it is always attuned to power, agency, and voice.  She teaches at Black Hills State University.
